get gone dingus the only “male pattern violence” here is me violently rearranging ur dad’s guts last night while i gave him the best orgasm of his life.
seems like a good time to add that the study TERFs always use to argue this “male pattern violence” point does not show what they want it to show. Cecilia Dhejne, who worked on it, was interviewed on this and said she is very frustrated by how transphobes are misrepresenting her work, saying this on the “crime pattern” shit:
The individual in the image who is making claims about trans criminality, specifically rape likelihood, is misrepresenting the study findings. The study as a whole covers the period between 1973 and 2003. If one divides the cohort into two groups, 1973 to 1988 and 1989 to 2003, one observes that for the latter group (1989 – 2003), differences in mortality, suicide attempts, and crime disappear. This means that for the 1989 to 2003 group, we did not find a male pattern of criminality.
As to the criminality metric itself, we were measuring and comparing the total number of convictions, not conviction type. We were not saying that cisgender males are convicted of crimes associated with marginalization and poverty. We didn’t control for that and we were certainly not saying that we found that trans women were a rape risk. What we were saying was that for the 1973 to 1988 cohort group and the cisgender male group, both experienced similar rates of convictions. As I said, this pattern is not observed in the 1989 to 2003 cohort group.
The difference we observed between the 1989 to 2003 cohort and the control group is that the trans cohort group accessed more mental health care, which is appropriate given the level of ongoing discrimination the group faces. What the data tells us is that things are getting measurably better and the issues we found affecting the 1973 to 1988 cohort group likely reflects a time when trans health and psychological care was less effective and social stigma was far worse.so y'all are just factually wrong and hate trans women and the people who did that study hate you, hope this helps <3
I would also like to add that, if I’m reading this correctly, convictions aren’t a good way to get this type of data for so many reasons. It’s impossible to control for traits people have because that data is already biased.
It’s been a while since I’ve actually looked at the data, but even if you trust the source <academic or Government agency> convictions are not a good indicator. For instance if you take a look at the data break it down by gender and then look at it by race you will find that black men are convicted for just about every type of blue collar crime <probably some others as well>. If you were to take that at face value, you could argue that this means that black men also commit the most crimes. We know this not to be true because we know that the prison system is biased.

Segment from a documentary about Medialab, the French animation studio that created the first two seasons of the Donkey Kong Country cartoon, showing the motion capture technology used to animate Donkey Kong. In this segment, Donkey Kong announces that he loves military service before marching away.

yes you’re a leftist and you reblog posts that say “yes you’re a leftist but are you normal about trans men” but are you actually normal about trans men
personally i would read the psychological thriller based on the horrific events that transpire at the fanfic retreat

This is so real. Conservatives act like theyd rather have GNC people be cis than transition but the reality is that they don’t want cisgender GNC people to exist either. The gender binary as it exists today doesn’t allow any middle ground between complete gender conformity and getting discriminated against. Tomboys just barely get to exist (but not without resistance) but any slightly GNC man will make the average conservative furious beyond belief.

so many cis people who are definitely cis say stuff to me that is so trans
and i know theyre cis i know theyre happy with their agab but societal misogyny and transphobia is so ingrained in society that
they just have so much pressure to be The Right Kind of cis
like cis guys cant do anything remotely feminine because apparently thats the worst thing a man can be
n cis girls can be “gnc” but they still have to appeal to the standards. like you can be a tomboy but you have to be a sexy tomboy who shaves
and theyre like “man i wish i could be a guy/girl it would be so much easier if i didnt have to always appeal to the box im put in”
and then those same people will talk shit about trans people like bro We’re on Your Side
